1987年生まれ　三重県在住　2009年から『やまなみ工房』に所属 音楽が流れるとリズムに合わせエアギターをかき鳴らし熱唱、車両が後退する際はオーバーアクションで誘導、休憩時には煙草を吸う仕草を真似て一服と、常に周囲を意識し自分自身を演出している彼の自己アピールの一つに作品制作がある。モチーフは人物や動物等、様々で雑誌や画集を見てそれを模写する。腕を組み、角度を変え構図を考える様も、一つ一つ丁寧に色を塗り重ねる筆使いもすべては彼の演出、彼の美学なのである。その美学から生まれる作品たちは、彼も予想がつかない全く別の色や形へと変化していく。

born in 1987/ living in Mie/ at YAMANAMI since 2009 Hiroya Oji likes to draw people’s attentions. Moving dynamically and smiling, he sometimes pretends to play the guitar and sings loudly. And at times during lunch break he pretends to smoke. He is always aware of people around him. Artistic activities are one of the ways he found to impress people. He reproduces people and animals he finds in magazines or books into paintings of his own style. His artworks seem like they grow naturally, almost beyond his intentions.
