1985年生まれ　滋賀県在住　2004年から『やまなみ工房』に所属 初めは作業や清掃メンテナンスをしていた彼が、本格的に表現活動を始めたのは、やまなみ工房に来て10年たった頃だ。画用紙に様々な色のクレヨンを使い無作為に描いていく。モチーフになるものはなく何度も色を重ねていき一つの作品が完成していく。立体においては大きな陶土の塊を板に置くと、親指を様々な方向から力強く押さえて穴を空けていく。この行為を続けるうちに多量に空いたいくつかの穴は、岩石のような形へと変わっていく。彼にとって作品制作は、土の感触を感じ制作過程の行為を楽しむ一つとなり、満足感が作品として生まれていく。

born in 1985/ living in Shiga/ at YAMANAMI since 2004 Takashi Enomoto began his artistic activities after he spent ten years at YAMANAMI. During those ten years he used to clean the YAMANAMI facilities, or did some other works. When he draws, he doesn’t have any motifs in his mind. He just adds one color to another with crayons on paper. When he works with clay, he makes many holes in a big chunk of clay, pushing hard with his thumb. After a while, his clay work with numerous holes gradually changes its shape and looks like a natural rock.
